Surprises in the dark...

Walking on through the dimly lit tunnel, Erill stares at a scroll in his hands while casting an idea around in his head...
Suddenly, his eyes accustomed to the dark he is almost blinded by flashes of light...migical flames burn him in his armour while blows land deftly on his armour seeking a weak point...
He goes to cast a spell but the evilness of the place staggers him...
More blows and spells burn his skin and dent his armour...
Two eyes...staring down at him...eyes of ruby...the flames of the underworld flickering in them...
He looks up to find the burning gone...the blows non existent...the bright light in his memory...he is floating...floating upon what is not there...all around is greyness...he knows what this means...he sighs sadly and goes to sleep supported by a force he cannot see or feel...
Will he wake up again...he does not know...do you?
