[Songs] A Delivery for the Barding Lord

Postby Kampfer » Wed May 25, 2005 5:48 pm

Knocking at the door of the Barding Lord, a young elf dressed in dark was carrying a mandolin at his hip and a scroll case in his back. After a short moment, the voice of the lord allows him to enter. Greeting the bard, he opened the scroll case and get three parchments from it. He lend them to the Barding Lord and says: "This is my work, as ordered by the mighty Kampfer. I've followed him for the last six months as his scribe and storyteller. Here are three genuine songs I've been inspired after the experiences I lived during those eventful months. This man is one of a kind, I've noticed no flaws in him, his technic is swift, accurate and deadly. I hope you will take those words seriously and as the Barding Lord I'm sure you will be objective and you will give this knowledge to our colleagues and schools." On this he bow in a friendly way and left the room.

The Beast (ooc: written 06/may/2005)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Walking through the lands of stone
he's carrying death with him
Spreading fear around him
his preys are petrified in terror
Moving slowly toward them
he entered into a rage
Accelerating the beat
he sent them to hell

'chorus'
Cover by darkness, the day is fading
Cover by hatred, the trust is fleeing
Cover by fear, the courage is falling
and cover by him, the life is ending

Walking through the lands of stone
he's sending more innocent to death
Spreading rumors around the region
peoples are aware of him
Moving slowly into towns
he made more victims
Devastating like a storm
he brings hell up here

['chorus']

The beast have a name
but nobody dare to use it
This beast is made of flesh and bones
but nobody could harm him
this beast have a soul
...but nobody knows who's soul it is.

The forces of good finally arrived
armed from head to toes
By Hara's blessing they tried
but in vain they fought the beast
Rampaging without mercy
Is there anyone to stop him?

['chorus']

Underneath the lights of Aester
he's growing
Underneath the faith in Hara
he's consuming
Underneath the failure of Gods
he's dominating

The Call of Blood (ooc: written 18/may/2005)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Sent on the Land by greater power
he's possess by the will of a god
the mission is to collect souls
to call back the greatest of all

Leaded by strength and hatred
he slaughtered every living being
enjoying the flood of blood
the scene is horribly astounding

The beauty of this picture let them speechless
they are haunted by such vision of horror
crawling around to get out of this nightmare
they are called for the great sacrifice

Approaching those crawling worms
he present himself as the messenger
giving them the last blessings
there souls are damned forever

Now that they are rotting in hell
the ritual is about to begin
all gathered around a stone coffin
there lives are leaving them slowly

Overcome by the speech of the one
they are released from there poverty
dark lights are coming out of the stone
levitating of excitement upon them
he called for the greatest of all

The last soul enters the coffin
the decisive moment has come
a blinding light exploded
and then the silence ruled

Nothing
Nothing happened at this point
Nothing
Nothing will happen at this point

Heading down in a deafening scream
he knew more was needed
then holding his sword in the air
he annonced the hunt open

The Spirit of Mens (ooc: written 24/may/2005)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Travelling toward ages
mens are building their own destiny
they tried to overcome their true nature
but nature was travelling throught ages too
following them as a shadow
it was waiting for the right time

Taking care of the weaks
giving warmth to the helpless
comforting the isolated
giving hope to the desperated
increasing the greed of the strong
its amongst us already
and its growing stronger

Slowly the hatred emerge
conflicts grows between mens
wars break out their dreams
swallowing them into violence
nature take back its place
right where it belongs

Pushing people to frenzy and madness
many factions were created on both side
they were killing each other for centuries
dark days are annonced by the stars
the fate of the mens decided
they have to choose a side
but they have to choose wisely
that is their destiny

OOC wrote: I hope you enjoyed those songs I've wrote. I had alot of pleasure to write them while I was remembering some event in LoS I've experienced during the construction of Kampfer. I want to thanks Erynn, she was more than a muse for me  her way of playing and writting stories make me want more about myself and my RP. I wanted something more for Kampfer, something like a past, like I always do for my "Dungeons & Dragons" charaters. All your comments good or bad are welcome. I wish everyone could be able to feel what it is to be Kampfer (without sharing him  ) the last 6 months were for me kind of bad news after bad news after bad news, especially since i'm in UK, but now everything seems to be returned to normal.

ooc:

Seems your inspiration during your absence has only increased and increased. Both these songs as well the story of Verraten are well thought and well written. I really enjoyed reading all (i even forced myself not to real all at once). I must admit im pretty jealous about that. These days im just wandering around without any inspiration. Your absence didn't do any good to my chars. None have been RP-ing well or have been finding secrets. Hope you'll come back soon so the eternal battle between good and evil will lit again, more heavy, more bloody as ever. The grounds will shake as both aura's strike eachother again. The lands, even in the far outposts, will feel when the battle will begin.
