I am an american and I am not stupid. What I think is stupid is generalizing a nation or anything based on... ohh what are you baseing your generilzation on? Ahh you posted Nov. 3. Thats not stupidity thats Americans having morals and wanting to do the right thing.

Did you read the entire thread? It looks like you only read the headline.

I can't see how it "downs" Americans. On the contrary, surely the concern for the rest of the world shown by the (mostly young) Americans who posted on the sorryeverybody site and the general affection demonstrated towards Americans by posters from other countries is encouraging, whatever your politics.
And for your information "cached in a web browser" is rather different from "saved".
