weapon descriptions

In response to another thread, I started looking around for pictures to represent my characters. I was wondering about what some of the weapons look like. For example, what do all of the blades generally look like and what makes them different from swords?

Can anyone refer me to a good medieval weapon site to get better ideas of what the different weapons are?

just buy (find) the "Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 - Players handbook"

and you will have a very good idea of what they look like... for the difference its quite the same as in the book too
