BB problems

I've been having some problems accessing the bulletin board recently. Usually I have log in automatically set, but this has tended to produce error messages like the following:

phpBB : Critical Error

Error updating sessions table

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1034 Incorrect key file for table: 'phpbb_users'. Try to repair it

UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_session_time = 1093374468, user_session_page = 0 WHERE user_id = 13

If I refresh the screen, I can see the board (and post obviously!). But even then, it seems like it only keeps track of the posts I've viewed for that session only. The next time I log in, posts I've read are marked as unread. Any suggestions? Problem at my end? Problem with the board?

The server on which the BB lives had a total hard disk failure, It was fixed but there have been a couple of nicely hidden problem of this type. The table has been repaired and you should find you can return to how you prefer to use the BB.
