Without wanting to be premature in complaint, I am unable to connect to LoS. Trace route gets me to UK but then times out.

I know of one player in UK who can still connect successfully. However, connection attempts from at least some parts of Australia, Canada and Norway are failing.

Who can connect currently and who cant?

i cant connect today, yesterday nothing was wrong, but today i cant connect.

im from hollland.
ik talked magai about it on msn but he has no trouble, hes in the uk.

I get on fine using ip or url.
england based
i spoke to people in different contries to test.
canada no connection
usa no connection
norway no connection
holland no connection
australia no connection

i think there is a messed up comms something somewhere (wow now thats serious technical talk)

its PERM farming time *snicker*

I know its been said, but just to clarify, no luck in central canada as far as connecting, and right after I get back from a huge job in the north (without any form of electricity let alone any type of internet) hungry to appease my mud addiction :cry:

I hate the fact that los is so good it makes other muds inferior, creates some sort of textual dependence that I could certainly do without.

I predict you both use different internet service providers (ISPs). It has been clear from the beginning that there is a routing problem. My ISP knows nothing about a routing problem in the UK but it must be there. I have heard of no UK residents unable to connect. They are all happily mudding in LoS. I hope they are missing the rest of us just a little bit :p
