Bounty hunter

Does anyone had any experiences in defeating a bounty hunter that was hunting them. If im right, the hunter should be the same lvl as you are and therefore you could be able to defeat it. If in the situation the outlaw defeats his hunter, is he no longer outlaw? And do you get a certain prize or something?

as far as i know, if you kill that hunter, you loose your outlaw status..
i don't think you'll get rewarded for it.. cause then we can kill other players only for killing that hunter, not for RP

and btw you don't loose your outlaw status by killing the hunter.. he just come back later to finish you ass
