I heard terrible news from my comrade Scorpion that we paladins are unable to use blackstar swords. May i ask for what reason that is, since the weapon has no evil aura?

For goodness sake Ghandi - we *TOLD* you that on converting the entire object database to XML, some objects had lost their flags. Why not just ask whether it is another of those items rather than getting huffy? It is fixed for all future blackstar swords. If you want any in your inventory fixed then ask nicely.

I have a similar question then, about gauntlets of the claw - they seem to be less protective than before. It might not be the same cause at all! But actually what is the best way of raising questions like these? Is it via bugreport? We don't seem to see much of Melodor in the Lands any more *sigh*.

Melodor is here a lot but stays invisible because he is often afk with work. You can always mudmail him - or me of you get no response from talking to yourself.
(Gauntlets of the claw have not changed.)

Sorry,
was just wondering that it might had a reason for instead of losing a flag or something.

So, since Paladins can't wiel a bastard sword, broad sword or a blackstar sword, i was thinking. Should or shouldn't a paladin wiel a sword? Cause the best weapon is a diamantium longsword, which isn't that good as the hammer.

Scorpion, can you actually *read* my reply?
Paladins can wield these swords.
The diamantium sword is not the best sword, either.
