Hi

I was just wondering if any other rangers (if there are any) had run into problems with 'duel wielding'. I have managed to gather a number of adamantine spears and to my delight was able to wield them both. As prior to this I had not been skilled enuff to do so.

So I happly set off to cause some havoc, only to find after my first fight!!
a line of text saying 'you fumble your weapon'. Not seen that one before! Anyway I tried to second my spear and find that I am not skilled enuff again.

Anyone got any suggestions..........

Ok worked it out feel a bit daft but whats new there when it comes to LOS!!

You need high dex for wielding 2 weapons of the same weight. like 22 or something.

anyways, get 2x zuthra spears, then u rock.

Sometimes you can wield them both only when hasted. Just a thought, cause its happened to Strider before. When your wielding both weapons of equal value when hasted and your haste time is up, then you fumble the second one.

haste increases your dex, so then u can wiel both of the same weight. after haste is over, you lose dex bonus -> not enough dex to wiel weapons of same value -> fumble.

I have a numeber of adamantine ones though don't think there +4 EEek!!! The one thing abouth the adamantine spears at least they don't break as easily as the Zuthra spears!!! Having spent a fortune on getting them fixed only to have them broken by that great lump Jerrek!!!!

then stop fixing your stuff by Jerrek ;)
DMs have said it once, Jerrek might receive too many hits on the head and that makes him a impotent blacksmith (and yes.. I believed it, lol)

In Kampfer's defense...
im·po·tent [im-puh-tuhnt]
–adjective
1. not potent; lacking power or ability.
2. utterly unable (to do something).
3. without force or effectiveness.
4. lacking bodily strength or physically helpless.
5. (of a male) unable to attain or sustain a penile erection.
6. (esp. of a male) sterile.
7. Obsolete. without restraint.

The important parts of that would be numbers 1 and 2 XD.
