I am going to be tied up and might not be able to play for 2-3 weeks. How long can a character be inactive and not be removed from the game? Does it vary by level of character? Any guideline would be appreciated.

I might be able to just log each character on once a week and not really play if that would work.

It takes a few months to lose a character.

It is level dependant afaik: high level characters take long to erase. Perhaps for a level 1 it's a month. But for 2-3 weeks your character will be safe.
