Forum Displayed name vs loggin name

Is there a way to enable or add an option to change displayed name on the forum without having to change the log in name?

Kampfer has past to history and I would like to continue on the forum as someone else but to keep all the options/posts of this account.

The name is an attribute on the account, not the primary identifier so I can change the account name. The only issue is that every Kampfer post will appear to have been posted under the new name, not Kampfer.

If you want to create a new account and have this one locked that is also an option. I can change the email to a dummy address which would allow you to re-use your existing one.

Sadly two account names on one account history is not possible.
